*** Announcing EPS Version 3 ***
Event Photo Systems is proudly announcing release of version 3 at end of June.
Taking advantage of Microsofts market leading technologies such as MS SQL and .NET 3.5 the EPS software has received a great performance and stability boost to accommodate larger events, more viewing stations and even greater return of investment.
 
Version 3 contains many new features where a few of the most noticeable are that all events are stored in the same database and hence you can offer sales of images from previous events. Border layover templates (may release at later date) is another new feature allowing your customer to add their images to one of your own border templates and add text such as name and club, all configurable to you.
 
Other new features include sub-categories, keyword search, wishlist, advanced postage configuration, user levels for your team to assign appropriate access for each user, and much more.

As an extra incentive until version 3 is released we will offer a free upgrade to Version 3 base license with every sold version 2 software, so there is no reason to wait for version 3.


BETA Release
A public beta release is available for registered users in Support - Downloads.
Simply register on the site and dowload the beta release to test it out for 30 days.
We kindly ask all beta testers to email any found bugs to support@eventphotosystems.com so we can rectify and release version 3 as soon as possible.

On site sales in a breeze

Providing an on-site sales solution is by far the most beneficial way to boost profitability during event photography. A customer is always more motivated to make a purchase just after they or an immediate family member have completed a performance. On-site sales is normally several times larger then sales from a web site only and pays for the extra investment in a very short time.

EPS 2 - Event Photography Systems Version 2 is a turnkey event photography application aimed at maximizing onsite sales and ease after sales activities. As such it uses a configurable and streamlined work flow to maximize turn around of high volume photography for presentation and sales to the customer. On-site sales has proven to outperform online sales, the time from shutter activation to sale is  the most critical parameters in event photography and the EPS software application will cut it down to an absolute minimum.

EPS is very easy to install and run, you will not need any special computer knowledge other then a basic understanding for how to setup a small network and a general idea how windows applications work.
Camera To System

CopyCopyCopyCopy is the first step in the digital event photography workflow. It will copy, backup, rotate and resize your event images automatically. The software is configurable to detect when a memory card is inserted or when a new file is added at a location on your hard drive if shooting tethered. CopyCopy can also be configured to bypass the Categorizer software application and automatically categorize your photos to instantly make them available in the client pre-viewer while you are taking the next images. Customers can then preview the photos instantly or come back at any time and easily find and purchase their images.
Image Preparations

CategorizerCategorizer can do much more then just categorize your photos. It is developed to support a high throughput of digital images with as small effort as possible. Without lifting your hands from the keyboard you can categorize, enter start number, delete, crop, zoom and step between images. None of the operations will alter or remove the original image so you can change crop or undelete later. Clients can preview and purchase images from a networked laptop as you go. With the express export function you can have all images cropped, resized and stored together with a configurable xml file containing the file data for later upload to your website.
Convertion

ClientViewClientView is where your effort will convert into cash. Customers can easily search their images through the categories and preview a large version. The ClientView software will automatically resize to fill the full monitor and doesn't have the normal windows controls to avoid that customers closes or resizes the application. It features a dark background to boost the appearance of contrast and color in your images. As new photos are added into the system the ClientView application updates itself to show new categories and images. There is no limit to how many preview stations with ClientView you can use other then the limits of your network.
